Ami Bhattacharya is an experienced Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for adults and children.
She specializes in treating many skin conditions for adults and children including acne, eczema, and psoriasis. She also performs routine skin exams, skin cancer detection and treatment, and cosmetic Botox. Ami is active in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ami obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2006. She has been in practice with Dr. Bryan Selkin since then, now going on over 15+ years.
Prior to career in medicine, she worked as a management and technology consultant for Accenture with a focus on the healthcare and healthcare technology sector. Ami completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin with a dual-degree in Business Honors and Management Information Systems.
Outside of work, Ami enjoys traveling the world, playing tennis, working out, reading and spending time with her family.
